Our long term vision is to use EVG as a launch pad to reinvent our education system to teach them the difference between contributing to society and putting their hand out for a benefit.
Aspire Magazine, the online magazine for entrepreneurs that has interviewed the likes of Richard Branson, Guy Kawasaki and more, has now featured The Elevation Group's Founder Mike Dillard and CEO Robert Hirsch in its January 2013 edition. According to Aspire's website: "We like to ‘make waves’ at ASPIRE HQ, which is why we decided to feature ‘The Oracle of Doom, Beacon of Hope’ on the cover. Don’t know who Mike Dillard is? Only one way to find out…"
Mike Dillard believes that the U.S. is coming up on the greatest wealth transfer in human history. The 'Land of the Free, and the Home of The Brave', has become the ‘Land of the Slaves and Home of The Victims’. But with the proper knowledge, anyone can put themselves on the right side of the transfer.
This belief was the fuel that fired the creation of The Elevation Group (EVG).
The Elevation Group started in late 2010 as an online diary in which members pay to access interviews with financial experts and access to EVG founders’ virtual rolodex. It strives to provide alternative investment strategies that go against the grain of commonly held personal financial advice.
The Elevation Group recognizes that the classic model of, 'get a job, invest in your IRA/410K and retire at 65' no longer works in the post-2008 world.
“We actually go and interview the best investors that are also educators… guys like Tom Wheelwright, author of the book, Tax Free Wealth," says Mr. Dillard. "Tom is our CPA. We interview him to teach our members about concepts like tax deferment and tax avoidance.”
Mr. Dillard is quick to point out that neither he nor his business partner Robert Hirsch are financial advisers. Rather, they are interviewers who chronicle where “the ultra rich” are investing their money.
Mr. Hirsch adds, “We don’t teach anything. We’re not licensed to. What we do is videos... we went down to Necker Island to interview Richard Branson... it’s really alternative investment strategies.”
What are the goals of The Elevation Group?
“Short to medium term, how do we empower the middle class with the strategies of the ultra rich?" continues Mr. Hirsch. "Our long term vision is to use EVG as a launch pad to reinvent our education system to teach them the difference between contributing to society and putting their hand out for a benefit.”
